The legendary Karwendelmarsch has been a fixed date in the sporting event calendar for years, taking place annually on the last Saturday in August. The route leads through the breathtaking Karwendel mountain range from Scharnitz to Pertisau. On courses of 35 or 52 kilometers, participants can look forward to impressive mountain panoramas, athletic challenges, and a unique combination of nature and tradition.

On 06 September 2026, this now traditional race invites you to explore the region around the lake at a brisk pace. Creating Advent wreaths is an old custom that has become an integral part of the pre-Christmas season at DAS KRONTHALER. At the end of November, just before the first Advent weekend, the DIY Advent workshop will once again take place this year with florists Markus Alexander Reinhold and Frank Wüstermann: from Advent wreaths to atmospheric arrangements for a festive home.
